To the Garcia Family:

I am sorry for your loss. I met Ben while living in the dorms at Whittier College. In fact I was Ben’ s Resident Advisor (RA) for a year. Don’t worry, I was a “cool” RA so Ben didn't get into much trouble under my watch.

Ben was and will be one of the coolest guys I met at Whittier. We always helped each other with school work and we would sit and chat about life.

He was a supportive and warm hearted person who never judged others, instead he respected everyone for their differences.

Of course, Ben knew how to have a great time. It was his way to live life to its fullest. This positive attitude radiated from him and passed to others. As long as he was with friends, he was happy?.

He was a friend among friends. Everyone knew and loved him. I will only meet one person in my life like Ben Garcia. He had a huge heart and a true love for living!
