Top left, Bruno (w/ fork ready to eat) he owns a local surf shop in Sunset Beach. Todd (shades on) friend of all. Allen Johnson, Ben's teammate of 2 years at Whittier. Chris (my former swim coach in highschool and teammate at Whittier for 1 year) then Augie Seaman one of Ben's best friends here in CA. Last but not least is me C.J. Carty. |

| I will always remember this 2003 Jalama trip. this picture is a perfect candid shot of a bunch of really good friends just having a great time hanging out, playing horse shoes, surfing, and relaxing. As tears are rolling down my face, writing this with joy remembering this picture. I was extremely close to Ben, I hosted him on his recruiting trip out to CA and immediately became friends. All the years of surfing, playing polo, living together, and partying with Ben were the most fun times in my life. Every year now we go on the Jalama trip and cant help reminiscing of the 2003 trip. There wont ever be another one like it. I miss my friend Ben. |
